Mezdulene has a passion for crystals and beautiful rocks.  She has picked them up all of her life, each one a reminder of a special time in nature. She is constantly amazed by the beauty of stones and their incredible variety.  Give her a few million years, and Mother Nature can turn anything into a beautiful rock from a piece of wood (petrifed wood) to dinosaur poo (copralite).  Add to that the multitude of colorful agates, jasper, jades and so many more you have to see to believe.

Mezdulene's Oasis began in 2006 as a rock and gem store and has since evolved into so much more.  Mezdulene added a complete line of beads, jewelry findings, tools, books, greeting cards and gift items.  After painting her building purple, people began to take notice.  Locals and travelers alike find special items for their needs in a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere.  Mezdulene is the resident jewelry maker, and uses her skills to create custom healing jewelry.  She also teaches beading and wire wrapping classes.

Terri helps run the store and creates most of the beautiful displays, and she is also learning how to make healing jewelry as well as starting an etsy site for the store.  Chris sometimes helps out behind the front counter, but is most often found behind the scenes making beautiful cabachons as well as being the resident silver and goldsmith.

In the back of the store is the Mystical Oasis Dance Studio where Mezdulene teaches belly dance for health classes and directs a professional dance troupe.  There's a lot going on under one roof, and one older rock hound called it a 'very interesting place' with rocks in front and belly dancing in the back, never a dull moment.
